Unique Islands Offer a Luxurious Seychelles Vacation

The Seychelles islands cluster, off the coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean, is a tropical remote location. This collection of 115 islands is home to some of the world s rarest wildlife. Unlike many of the other island clusters in the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles is large enough to support a healthy population of natives. Because some of the islands are fairly distant from one another, travel between them is accomplished by small airplanes, ferry or helicopter. If seeing nature is the goal, a private helicopter transport between islands is breathtaking.

The Right Way to Play on Your Pontoon Boat

For people who love to entertain on the water, the pontoon boat is a perfect boating choice. Pontoon boats, also know as Party boats, are made of a hull constructed of round tubes that are attached to a large flat deck. Safety railing on all sides surrounds the deck of the pontoon boat. Generally speaking, pontoon boats can hold six to twelve people but higher end pontoon boats can carry more.

It must be noted that pontoon boats are best for calm lakes and other quiet bodies of water. Pontoon boats should not be exposed to waves over two feet high. The ocean and larger lakes put both the boat and passengers on the pontoon in danger.

Trip to Maldives !

It was in the year 1977, I got my first passport after an NOC (No objection certificate) issued by the Government of India for issuing me a passport, since I was a Government employee . I was very enthusiastic about my possible ‘overseas travel’ and started to make plans for a trip to Maldives. I had another friend of mine, who also got his first passport , and was desperately banking upon me to make the tour plan to accommodate him as well.

Both of us bought airline ticket from Trivandrum to Maldives,(A group of islands in the Indian ocean, southwest of India, approximately 45minutes of flying time by a Boeing aircraft from Trivandrum.). Having successfully arranged that, we

He informed me that Maldives Government has approved the residents of the country to entertain tourists in their houses, and could collect rent for their stay and pay a small portion as tax to the Government. My friend had also recommended me to one of his friends in Maldives, who could be my host.
Having arranged that, we planned for the travel and set out by train to reach Trivandrum from where we would catch a flight to Maldives. Everything went off very smoothly, and on the scheduled day of departure, we went through the formalities of immigration and customs and

Wakeboarding: The New Surfing

Wakeboarding is a sport of the times. A wakeboarder is a person towed behind a boat or a cable skiing lift at a speed of around 18-24 mph. The main difference is that instead of skis, the rider uses a single board, shorter in length and wider than snowboards, with foot bindings.

For decades, surfing was the favorite sport of the beach lover. Even in doing this sport, one would require transportation by boat from one location to another. In 1985, a San Diego Surfer named Tony Finn developed a hybrid of the water ski and the surfboard. He called this the Skurfboard. This new board looked almost exactly like a surfboard but was pulled by

a boat while its rider performed new skills and tricks. The sport was consequently called Skurfing. Later that summer, foot straps were added to these boards and this was a big thing. This allowed riders to do more free-flowing and dynamic stunts. However, the sport continued to struggle due to a lack of innovation and technology surrounding the boards.
